Activities

Our activities program is designed to keep your loved one engaged and socializing. Studies show that regular socialization can slow the progression of diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, and even lengthen the life span of an individual. Also we know staying active is important in general, so we have designed an activity program that is filled with fun and engaging weekly events unique to each of our residents.

Dining

Our dining programs features menus created by our lead chef and dietitian with individual resident’s preferences in mind. We are able to accommodate any diet preference or need, all the way from diabetic to a pureed diet. Click the button below to schedule a meal with us at no cost! Housekeeping

Your loved one’s fully furnished room will be cleaned daily and deep cleaned monthly or as needed. The linings will be striped and washed, trash cans emptied, and vacuumed and mopped as needed. The bed will be made and check for soiled areas daily. Your loved one can relax knowing all of the housework is taken care of for them!

Medication Administration

Medication is administered by our specialty trained staff. Our medication program uses an Electronic Medication Administration Record. This system prevents medication errors by ensuring the right medication is given to the right resident in the right dosage at the right time! This system is overseen by our Resident Care Manager and monitored closely by our Executive Director.

24 Hour Staff

Every staff member has been thoroughly trained in resident’s rights, reporting policies, caring for dementia resident’s, identifying changes in an individual’s health or needs, and more. We are staffed well above the state’s minimum staffing requirements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff will meet any need, such as assistance with daily hygiene, dressing, toileting, etc.

In House Therapy

therapy can provide valuable support for senior living individuals as they navigate the challenges of aging. It can help seniors maintain their mental and physical health, improve their quality of life, and provide social connection and support. Mountain Side can provide In house occupational, speech, or physical therapy to any resident in need.
